Service Description

A Coggins test is a blood test used to identify the presence of antibodies for equine infectious anemia (EIA). EIA is a potentially fatal disease with no current treatment available. The Coggins test is the most popular and well-known test among horse industry professionals. The test is required in both the United States and Canada when traveling with horses. Many states in the US require a negative Coggins test for interstate travel.
